One day Zoe was walking along the bank of the creek when she heard a disturbing, monstrous sound.

She walked further. She saw a chainsaw.

"OH NO" she said, "It's Bonbenny's tree. Bonbenny!" she yelled.

Her yell was like the chainsaw ripping at the tree.

Suddenly Bonbenny the baby possum landed at her feet.
"I want my mum!" it squeaked.

Zoe looked around the remaining trees trying to find the mother possum.

"Bonbenny," a voice came from the crook of a tree.

"Mum," he answered and jumped out Zoe's arms and scampered up the tree.

"Thank God you are all right!" said Zoe and she gave the chainsaw operator a monstrous look and walked home.
